    Midi Lab

    Description

    The lab provides access to hardware and software for use in music theory/ear training, music notation, audio recording and editing, MIDI sequencing, synthesis/audio processing, graphics, scanning, word processing and more. The music lab was acquired at the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year.

     Hardware: 

     Sixteen 21.5 inch 2.7 GHz Intel Core  i5 iMac computers, and one 27 inch 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5 iMac at the instructor's station.

     Each computer is connected to a 61-key Casio music keyboard.   

     Software Used:

    •   Finale

    •  iTunes

    •  GarageBand
