The Roosevelt High School celebrates Black History month with beautiful displays showcased throughout the building! Kimberla Wallace, a teacher at the Roosevelt High School, decorated the whole building depicting different facets of Black History Month.
The Roosevelt High School varsity wrestling team won the team championship at the Glen Cove McCullough Wresting Tournament. Brian Garcia was named Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament today. Congratulations to head coach Ben Syers and all of the Roosevelt High School grapplers today in a very competitive tournament.
The Roosevelt Boys Varsity Soccer team upset W.C. Mempham with a 7-6 penalty kick shootout win!
The Roosevelt High School hosted a Hispanic Heritage Night as the grand finale to the district's celebrations. The event included a night of Hispanic music, art, poetry, dance, presentations, and more!
On October 21, 2021, Roosevelt High School students participated in Nassau County Department of Human Services, Office of Youth Services' annual 4C's Day of Empowerment for young men ages 14-18. These young men embarked on a day of empowerment and mentoring entitled Kingship: Claiming his Crown. A panel of presenters discussed the following areas: career, character, college, courage, identity, potential, power, purpose, self-care, self-esteem, and self-worth.
