Washington-Rose Elementary School

 

This school year the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students have been busily preparing for the NYS Assessments.  On Monday, April 15th, Washington Rose celebrated all of their hard work with a "Rock the Test" Pep Rally!  Students from Grades 3-5 met in the gym and got pumped up about the upcoming tests.  There was music, cheers and an "Are you Smarter Than the Teachers?" Game Show!  Students learned the importance of getting a good night's sleep, and eating a healthy breakfast.  Our Washington Rose Cheerleaders got the school spirit up, and students from grades K-2 showed their support with their awesome signs!  The Roosevelt Rough Rider mascot even made an appearance!

 

Here at Washington Rose, we know that our students are ready to do their best on their tests!

 

Please remember the NYS ELA Exam is April 16th, 17th and 18th and the NYS Math Exam is April 24th, 25th and 26th!
