    On May 1st, Washington Rose students, parents and staff gathered to sit down and meet with our new principal Mr. Braswell.  Mr. Braswell shared his education, experience and affiliations with us.  He also shared his visions for the great things ahead for Washington Rose Elementary School. 

     

    If you missed the meeting, here are some very important things you need to know:

     

    Morning drop off safety- Please drop off students in an orderly manner, and NEVER allow students to cross the street by themselves.  The safety of our students is very important.

     

    Dismissal is 2:15 daily, please be prompt- All students MUST be picked up on time, there is NO supervision at Washington Rose Elementary School after 2:30

     

    Uniforms are important- We expect all of our students to wear our uniform, navy bottoms, and yellow tops.

     

    PTA Updates- Sadly, our PTA may be dissolved because in the past, things weren't done properly. A petition to allow the PTA to continue may go around

     

    We need parental involvement- Mr. Braswell wants to form parent committees for every grade level, he needs volunteers

     

    Men's initiative- Mr. Braswell wants men to volunteer to be an active part in our school community
