• The day started with an introduction by Mr. Bob and Mr. Jamie about Native Americans. They showed a movie outlining the history of the Native Americans.  Students broke into two groups. The group in gym saw the museum and traditional dress.  Jamie put on the outfits and explained all about their culture. Two students got to wear outfits.  Students also got to go into a long house and see furs from animals hanging down and could touch them. Then we switched groups and went upstairs to learn about and play traditional games.  All students met again in gym to listen to how their government worked and their rules about families, they got into groups and had a task to come to a group decision about choosing a leader. After lunch students got to use clay to make ducks. Kids had a great day and learned a lot.
