• The Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI)  is a reading comprehension test given at Washington Rose Elementary School  to students in grades 2-6.  The SRI is a reading assessment program which provides immediate, actionable data on students' reading levels and growth over time. SRI helps educators differentiate instruction, make meaningful interventions, forecast growth toward grade-level state tests, and demonstrate accountability. After your child takes the SRI, you will receive a letter with their Lexile score.  You can use this Lexile score to help your child select books that are just right for them.
